NATIONAL LATINA BUSINESS WOMEN ASSOCIATION MISSION TO CUBA -FORMING NEW ALLIANCES IN CUBA
As National Vice President of the National Latina Business Women Association, Pulles incorporated in the October 2015 mission, a town hall meeting, which was generously sponsored and organized by Engage Cuba, with micro business owners to explore how we can interact and engage with this growing population.
The leader, Ruben Valladares, who is president and founder of Adorgraf, convened over 20 business owners (cuentapropistas). As an outcome, the group decided to create an alliance, which Pulles suggested they name Hecho en Cuba. Since then, the Hecho en Cuba alliance has grown and has developed strong relationships with businesses and political leaders in the United States. They are very excited and optimistic of the change that has transpired and that is to come. VamosGlobal, combined with other Cuban focused organizations such as Engage Cuba and the US-Cuba Business Council, work closely to create awareness of the need on behalf of Congress to change our relations with Cuba and allow both US and Cuba to normalize not only diplomatic, but also commercial relations so we can work and prosper together.
